Dyslexia Activities

Dyslexic have alot of talent but they must learn to use them and they also need to learn activities to help them use there dyslexia. Here is my list of activities dyslexic should take part in to help them with there dyslexia:-

 

Reduce stress and build self acceptance

  • Taking part in sports (helps to reduce stress and increase self acceptance)
  • Take part in an hobby (same as above)
  • If you are good at art or making things, take it up more
  • Start an activities that no one or few people you know do

Educational 

  • Learn study skills 
  • Use spelling cards
  • Learn multiple table

Learn to use equipment

  • Learn to use a computer

Increase short term memory

  • Matching playing cards (the one which have 2 of each, you lay them all out and you turn them over once at a time but you need to find matching one)
  • Solitaire (This is a good strategy game with cards)
  • Solitaire (Chine style, where you leap on small stick on a board until you try to have 1 left on the board at the end)

Develop your knowledge

  • Read a newspaper everyday
  • Watch the evening news

Reading

  • Read a magazine you enjoy 
  • Read more books
  • Read blogs on the internet
